Lawsuit reveals Pauly D's big 'Jersey Shore' paycheck

    By Tim Kenneally, TheWrap.com

    Noel Vasquez / Getty Images

"Jersey Shore's" Pauly D certainly has something to smile and fistpump about -- he makes about $2 million per season on the reality show.

"Jersey Shore" star Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio is being sued by International Creative Management, which claims it is owed a chunk of DelVecchio's "Jersey Shore" pay -- and as the lawsuit points out, that's a boatload of money.

The suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, claims that DelVecchio and his company, Blowout Enterprises, entered into a representation agreement in January 2010 -- shortly after "Jersey Shore" premiered on MTV.

    Read the full lawsuit here.

More from TheWrap: Can motherhood extend Snooki's 15 minutes of fame?

According to ICM, the agency negotiated increasingly large fees for DelVecchio as the popularity of "Jersey Shore" ballooned, in exchange for 10 percent of DelVecchio's gross compensation. The suit says that the agreement worked out until season 4 of the show, when DelVecchio stopped paying the commission, the suit alleges.

And given the numbers involved, that commission adds up to a pretty penny.

The suit claims that, for Season 4 of "Jersey Shore," Pauly D's compensation was $100,000 for each of the 12 episodes, plus a $400,000 signing bonus, adding up to a cool $1.6 million -- and that's not including compensation for after-shows, a launch special, reunion show, merchandising and other compensation. (According to the complaint, DelVecchio received $200,000 as a "thank you" bonus for Season 4.)

And it gets even richer. ICM claims that for the upcoming Season 6 of "Jersey Shore," DelVecchio will rake in $175,000 for each of 12 episodes -- making for a total of $2.1 million. And again, that's not including after-shows, etc.

A spokeswoman for DelVecchio has not yet responded to TheWrap's request for comment.

The suit says that DelVecchio and ICM parted ways in May 2011, but that ICM is still due a 10 percent commission on any deals it put in play.

According to ICM, DelVecchio owes the agency $370,703.73 in back commission for Seasons 4 and 5, plus 10 percent of whatever DelVecchio takes in from Season 6.

The suit also calls for a written accounting of DelVecchio's compensation, pre-judgment interest, costs of the suit, and "such other and further relief as the Court may deem just and proper."

    By Us Weekly

Mike Sorrentino's situation has drastically improved.

The MTV reality star -- better known as The Situation -- has completed his treatment program, Sorrentino announced on his official website Thursday.

"He is now stronger and better than ever, and excited for this new amazing chapter in his life," according to a statement, which also says that Sorrentino has "a whole new outlook on life."

The "Jersey Shore" party boy announced on March 21 that he's addicted to pills. "I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion," Sorrentino, who was reportedly at Utah's Cirque Lodge, explained at the time.

A source recently told Us Weekly that Sorrentino, 29, "had a bad drug problem a few years ago" and even did a pre-"Shore" stint in rehab. About a year ago, Sorrentino's abuse of oxycodone and Xanax had gotten so out of hand, "MTV producers wanted to put him in rehab," an insider revealed. Ex-castmate Angelina Pivarnick also recalled that, while filming the Miami season in 2010, "he got in trouble for having pills."

What does Sorrentino's sobriety mean for his future?

PHOTOS: Craziest "Jersey Shore" moments ever

"Clubs aren't going to want him to promote while stone-cold sober," an industry source told Us of the MTV star, who commands up to $25,000 per club appearance. "His out-of-control character on the show is what's appealing about him."

Will Mike be less "appealing" now that he's apparently beaten his addiction? Share your thoughts on our Facebook page.

Break-ups and make-ups flavor 'Jersey Shore' reunion

The "Jersey Shore" cast wraps it up for another season.

    By Bruna Nessif, E! Online

It may seem like it was just last week that we saw these eight people together (because it was), but in real time, the "Jersey Shore" folks have been away from each other for a bit, so you can guess how excited we were to see them reunite and discuss some hot topics from the season.

Like, for example, Snooki and Mike's whole cheating scandal.

MORE: Snooki and JWoww blasted by PETA for dyeing dogs purple and pink!

Snooks stuck to her story that Mike was making stuff up, and added, "If I was that horny, I'd go to my room and masturbate."

"I'm not lying, I'm not. And I'm not gonna be made out to look like one, that's it," Sitch responded.

Then it was a lot of yelling and back-and-forth chatter. Ronnie's advice to Snooki was to just ignore Situation because the angrier she would get, the more guilty she looked. And just FYI, if Pauly D was in Jionni's situation, he would knock the guy out and then go to his girl asking if it was true (and then "sleep with her best friend or something").

As for Snooki and Mike, that friendship is over. At least on Nicole's end.

But the spotlight wasn't taken off of Mike just yet.

MORE: "Jersey Shore's" Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino: I have a "prescription medication problem"

The whole "villain of the house" title was brought up, including Sitch feeling emotional and left out during this past season.

According to the other roommates, he has a bad track record so it's hard to trust him. JWoww suggested that he apologize for all the shady things he's done in the past. He wasn't game for that and instead walked off set. But Jenni went after him to try and persuade him some more.

    Did it work?

MORE: New "Ted Says" video! Is Snooki's baby ready for its close up?

But of course. And Mike even apologized!

The two lovebirds of the house (Pauly and Vinny, duh) took the couch to talk pranks and "stalkers."

Pauly was truly scared of that girl Vanessa, who would conveniently show up wherever he was. And when host Amy Paffrath joked with him by saying Vanessa was in the audience, Pauly's face explained it all. Too funny.

As for their big prank, everyone agreed it was one of the best if not the best. Prank War champions!

JWoww is still happy in love with Roger. But surprisingly (or maybe not? It's up to you), the couple that seemed the most at ease throughout the summer are dunzo! Ron and Sammi spilled that they are no longer in a relationship because schedules became hectic. But don't ask who broke up with who. They seem to have different accounts of that.

Can't wait to see what happens during season six!

The Situation: I had a prescription medication problem

    By Us Weekly

    Charles Sykes / AP

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is setting the record straight.

On Tuesday, the "Jersey Shore" star's rep confirmed that he had checked into a treatment program "for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."

After it was erroneously reported that he was in rehab, Sorrentino decided to come clean on his official blog Wednesday.

"I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is getting some rest, his rep says.

    By Anna Chan

Uh oh. Could all the partying on "The Jersey Shore" finally have caught up to star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino?

Sources told TMZ that the reality personality is at an inpatient treatment program for substance abuse. His rep confirmed to our pals at Us Weekly, "He has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule." But the rep denied reports that the Sitch is getting help for drug or alcohol abuse.

Another source echoed the rep's words to Radar Online, saying, "His friends and family know where he is, he just wants to get away from the public and be on his own for a bit to relax."

The Situation may be trying to unwind a bit between seasons, but where ever he is, he seems to be staying on top of the latest "Shore" news. "Don't believe everything you read or hear," he tweeted Tuesday afternoon.

As for that R&R, he better get it while he can. MTV announced Monday that it's renewing "Jersey Shore" for a sixth season, which is set to begin production this summer -- and that means more work (and probably partying) for The Situation and his pals. Or he could just chill with pregnant co-star Snooki, who says she won't be living at the "Shore" house.

Baby on board at the "Jersey Shore" house!

Season six of "Jersey Shore" will go on -- and mom-to-be Snooki will be part of the cast, MTV confirmed in a Monday statement.

Photos from Us: Snooki's crazy style

"MTV gets ready for fist pumps and baby bumps," the statement begins, adding that production is set to start this summer at the infamous abode in Seaside Heights, NJ. "America's favorite housemates will all return to their home-away-from-home, and the house dynamic is headed into unchartered territory . . .as their lives outside the 'Shore' take off in exciting new directions."

    Photos from Us: Jersey-inspired style

It's doubtful that  Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, 22, will actually live with her six pals in the house. She first broke new exclusively to Us Weekly that she was pregnant with her first child -- and engaged to the daddy-to-be, Jionni LaValle.

Indeed, a source tells Us Weekly: "She's not going to be staying in the house -- no way."

"While things will definitely be a little different this time when they hit the boardwalk, their trademark hilarity and family dysfunction will remain the same," MTV added.

Snooki wasn't sure about filming the reality show that made her famous when speaking with Us.

"If anything, I'll visit the shore," she told Us. "I'm not living in that house pregnant. I don't want to be one of those moms who's pregnant in a club. It's disgusting."

"Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is planning on being one hot mama.

In her first interview since confirming her pregnancy, the pint-size reality star opened up about why being a young mom is a good thing.

"I'm only 24 so it happened kind of quick," she told MTV's "Jersey Shore After Hours." "But it's better because now I can be a MILF."

And believe it or not, Snooki thinks her hard-partying past helped prepare her for pregnancy.

Scary storm brings dramatic end to season for 'Jersey Shore'

    Ian Spanier Photography / MTV

    By Bruna Nessif, E! Online

Before we say anything, we must take a moment in honor of Ronnie and Sammi, who, for the first time ever, went through a whole season of "Jersey Shore" without explosive fights.

    OK, now back to business...

Thursday night was the last episode of the season (wah!), so did our favorite group of overly-tanned reality stars leave us with something good to hold on to until (hopefully) another season at the shore?

    Let's see...

MORE: Snooki's baby daddy: Five things to know about her fiance Jionni LaValle

Operation Inside Out was a success. The roommates couldn't believe the prank Pauly D and Vinny pulled. They're definitely champs.

Everyone was having fun with the idea, except Mike, who said that it "really, really, really p---es" him off. Relax Sitch, don't go bang your head against a wall or anything.

And instead of grabbing all of his stuff and bringing it back inside, like the others, because it was about to rain, he just sat back and complained. Why should he bring it all back in if he didn't put it out? Ayiyi, Michael!

Finally, Pauly gave in and helped The Situation bring all his "ruined" belongings back inside the house.

MORE: Snooki and Jessica Simpson: How much money will they make off of their babies?

That night everyone went out to Jenk's, with a cocktail in one hand and fist-pumping with the other. Vin made friends with two lesbians who were down to try and find him a girl, but ended up wanting to get cozy with him instead. Whaaaaa?!

He hoped to give them one last "hoo-rah" that would cause them to "switch teams back."

Either way, Vinny got lucky with two lesbians. Two! But did his unthinkable act cause an apocalypse?

Obviously not, but the weather changed drastically afterward. Dark clouds, wind, lightening, thunder ... is there a tornado comin' to the "Jersey Shore"?!

MORE: Pregnant Snooki gets Twitter love from "Jersey Shore" costars, Jionni blasts the haters

The tornado whistle said "yes," which then led Deena to scream and shout that she's driving away. Not the smartest idea ... luckily, she didn't actually do it and everyone lived through the scary storm.

    Follow @TODAY_Clicker

But it was their last night at the "Shore" house, so regardless of crazy weather, everyone went out to Karma.

We got to meet Mike's oldest brother Frank and his girlfriend, who is also Deena's sister, Joanie. They were a pretty cute couple. Dee and Sitch just might actually become family.

All the guys went to fly kites (random) after a bittersweet Sunday night dinner, so the girls brought out their revenge: a box full of water balloons and a sling-shot. It started out strong, but totally backfired.

MORE: Snooki defended: "It's not like she's 16 and pregnant," says "Jersey Shore" costar

Ronnie locked them out on the deck, leaving the girls with nowhere to go, while all the guys started filling up their own water balloons.

    Things got wet.

The next day was full of packing and goodbyes. And a little bit of bromance tears between Pauly and Vin. OK, maybe we cried a little, too.

GALLERY: Snooki and Jionni -- romance rewind

"Leaving the 'Shore' house is always bittersweet, like, you're excited to go home and see your family and friends, but then again, I mean, the party's over. I mean, what am I gonna do with my life now?" Snooki said.

Get married and have a baby, duh!

'Jersey Shore' stars Vinny and Deena say mom-to-be Snooki has matured

    By Randee Dawn

Brace yourself, but according to "Jersey Shore's" Vinny Guadagnino and Deena Nicole Cortese, their party-loving pal Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has really grown up. At least, that's what they told Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford on TODAY Wednesday morning, adding that pregnancy and engagement agree with her.

"You can say what you want about her, how she's like a mess, but this is reality. I think that would mature you real quick," said Vinny.

"Everybody sees one side -- like, you've seen my party side, you've seen Nicole's party side," Deena explained. "There are other sides to us that aren't just that. ... She's really happy, she's excited and she hasn't drank.  She's stopped smoking. She's doing really good."

Which is good news all around, especially since Kathie Lee's suggestion that the folks at the "Shore" start a Bible study every morning was shot down.

"We can't have any books!" Deena said, referring to the setup for "Shore." "We don't have anything. All we have really is each other."

    Follow @TODAY_Clicker

That may be one of the reasons why Deena so readily ran to Vinny's aid when he briefly left the show earlier this season due to anxiety. (Most of the cast showed up at his home and all but dragged him back to Jersey.)

"I was just set off that week," he explained, "and unfortunately that's when they were filming, and there's no escape. ... I was just anxious because we filmed in Italy for two months, and then we were told we were going right to Jersey. So I hadn't slept in like weeks and I was drinking every day. For me, a trigger gets set up in my mind where I just turn into a miserable, different person."

With Vinny back on board and Snooki with baby on board, "Shore" seems on the verge of shifting gears in some fundamental way. But just how remains to be seen. After all, a baby won't really fit into the GTL lifestyle. Though Vinny does have some redecorating suggestions: "We could turn the smush room into a (nursery) -- put a crib in there, decorate it."

    That sounds like "Shore" solution.

Snooki starts a pickle fight after Mike tattles to Jionni on 'Jersey Shore'

    MTV

Mike has some condimental differences with Snooki on "Jersey Shore."

    By Bruna Nessif, E! Online

We can't tell what this says about Jionni.

After Mike finally dropped the bomb about his hookup with Snooki while she was still with her boyfriend, all Jionni did was nod his head, shake Mike's hand and say thank you. What?! Definitely not the outcome Sitch was anticipating (and we think that made him kinda sad).

Then J went back to cuddling with Snooks in bed and told her what just happened....

MORE: Snooki's baby daddy: Five things to know about her fiance Jionni LaValle

She was annoyed, and he reassured her that he didn't believe Mike, anyway, so it doesn't matter. However, the rest of the roommates (who heard about what happened from Sitch, obviously) felt like Jionni's nonchalant response meant he didn't care about Snooki or didn't care because he was out hooking up with other girls, anyway!

    Hmmm....

Snooks surprisingly didn't throw any hard items at Mike (just pickles) and said their friendship was over, blah blah blah. That didn't last long, the throwing stuff part.

During dinner, a fun food fight turned personal once everyone stopped and Snooki and Mike kept going. And going. And going. The poor condiments! It was serious.

Meanwhile, no one else can decide who was lying and who was telling the truth. Sigh.

Deena decided to overlook Joey's shadiness and everyone else's warnings and go out with the kid, again. She was super tired of being the only single girl in the house, and we get that, but Joey? Even Pauly D and Vinny said no! And Dee felt like that meant something.

So she agreed to let Pauly cancel on Joey for her when he called. He told the poor schlub that Deena was sick and couldn't go out, and instead of asking if she was OK or if she needed anything, like a good guy would do, he got pissed and hung up. Um, bye.

But then he called again. Enter JWoww.

"I'm just looking out for a very dear friend of mine, who's my baby sister," she told him. "And when I smell -- you know -- a snake, I call him out on it." Boom!

MORE: Pregnant Snooki gets Twitter love from "Jersey Shore" costars, Jionni blasts the haters

That night, M-V-P went out to Aztec to get girls (and succeeded), while Ronnie, Sammi, JWoww and Deena went to Jimbo's just to chill. But Dee used this opportunity to vent to Jenni about Nicole, who she needed by her side but was too busy with Jionni.

Deena even cried, you guys. It was sad.

"I do miss Nicole, she used to be my partner in crime out there, like you know? Like, taking shots, going nuts. Now it's like, one meatball stands alone, kind of, which sucks."

For reasons we can't comprehend, (almost) everyone agreed to go camping -- yes, out in the wilderness. That should be interesting. However, Pauly and Vinny stayed behind. You can't do a blowout out there. Plus, the bromance brothers used this time to pull the ultimate prank ever, which we'll get to.

Mike surprised us with his "immaculate" tent-building abilities.

"I can't believe he has the brain span to actually build a good tent," Ron said.

    Back to the prank....

Pauly and Vin came up with the idea to move all the outside furniture inside, and all the inside furniture outside. Not an easy task for two people, but at least they have muscles. And brains? Sure, and brains.

Danny, the Shore Store boss, helped by bringing some manpower and Astroturf so they could transform the living room into the outside deck. They're not playing around, people.

When we got back to the guys in the great outdoors, we saw that they were able to make fire. Yay! But Mike was getting too excited and kept making more flames.

"He's like one of those people -- a hermaphrodite or whatever it is," Deena said. She meant pyromaniac. It's OK, Dee.

After surviving one night of camping, the trip was over. We would still call that a success.

But were they ready for the biggest prank ever?

We'll find out during next week's finale (awww...)

Report: 'Jersey Shore's' Snooki is expecting a baby and a wedding

Alleged mom-to-be Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is reportedly engaged to boyfriend Jionni LaValle.

    By Ree Hines

Last week the reality-TV rumor mill went into to overdrive with reports that hard-partying "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi will have to leave her boozing behavior behind because she has a baby on the way. But now we learn that there may be more than just a tiny fist-pumper in her future.

According People, a source close to Snooki has revealed that she's also engaged to longtime boyfriend Jionni LaValle.

The news isn't exactly a shock for the reality star's fans. Snooki has often talked of her hopes of marrying Jionni one day, and in January, she got specific about it.

"I know he's the one, so I know the ring's gonna come soon," she told People at the time. "Well, not soon-soon. He knows it should be big, cuz if it's small, I'm saying no. Like, 'Get another ring!'"

    It must have been big.

While the alleged mom-to-be still hasn't responded to all the latest baby talk, much less the nuptial news, another familiar face from "Jersey Shore" has. Jonny Manfre, otherwise known as "The Unit," wants to make one thing clear about the impending bundle of joy -- his pal, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, is not the father.

"It's not Situation's baby.... I'll tell you that much," he informed KISS-FM. "I would assume it's Jionni's baby."

Which is seemingly what everyone else assumes, too. So why mention Mike at all? Because as anyone who's been watching "Jersey Shore" this season knows, Sitch and The Unit can't pass up an opportunity to hint that Mike and Snooki "smushed."

And here's hoping Snooki wasn't expecting any well wishes from her always outspoken ex-boyfriend, Emilio Masella. If so, she's bound to be disappointed with his comments to TMZ.

"I hope for her sake ... not to be rude or anything ... but I hope she has a miscarriage," he said.

(Note to Emilio: That was, in fact, rude.)

Expect to learn more about Snooki's oh-so-public personal life when she and "Shore" co-star Jenni "JWoww" Farley launch their own spinoff show later this year.
