Kardashian sisters dish on Kanye, divorce and baby talk

    By E! Online

When Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian get together, you know you're in for an entertaining time. Particularly when some good-natured sibling ribbing is the order of the day.

When the E! stars sat down on "The Tonight Show" Monday night, the sisters gabbed about everything from Kanye West to the impending birth of Kourt's new baby girl to the rumors that Khloe was leaving the reality business to even -- yes, they went there -- Kim's still-fresh pending divorce.

MORE: Kanye West, Lamar Odom join Kardashians for Kourtney's baby shower!

Jay Leno wasted no time in questioning Kim on her relationship with Kanye, asking her about his song, "Theraflu," purportedly about his new girlfriend.

"I don't know if he wrote it for me," she began.

"I feel like the lyrics kinda say he wrote it for you," Khloe interjected. "I think the song is self-explanatory. I think it definitely says it's for her."

"I think my name's in it," Kim conceded, prompting laughs from the audience. A fairly good indicator, then, as clues go.

That wasn't the only time Khloe got the best of Kim during the interview. While promoting the seventh season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Kim began rehashing the paternity drama that recently surrounded Khloe, explaining that her late father's exes were to blame for fanning the flames of the rumors.

MORE: Kanye West to appear on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"?!

"My dad's ex-wives that he was married to for two seconds..." Kim began, but Khloe quickly -- and to applause, "oohs" and entertained gasps from the audience -- said, "Runs in the family."

Oh yes, she went there. Kim good-naturedly rolled with the punch. "That was a good one," she said.

Meanwhile, Khloe also denied that her and Lamar Odom's temporary hiatus from their eponymous reality show signaled the beginning of the end for them on the small screen.

"I understand that people need to sell magazines," she said. "I didn't pull the plug on any show, we just wanted the summer (off)."

"I mean, Lamar and I have fun doing what we're doing. 'Keeping Up' is a show that we're taping and that we always do. I don't know how something spun so far out in the media. We're just doing what makes us happy, so until it doesn't make us happy, we'll do it. We're just taking the summer off. It's like we're in school, and now it's summer."

Which also means that the birth of Kourtney's second child is drawing ever closer. But can viewers expect to be treated to another video of the birth like her infamous footage delivering Mason?

"I don't know," she told Jay. "We're gonna film it again ourselves, and honestly, my experience last time was so peaceful and calm and everything you don't see in the movies. And I really wanted to share that with people so they knew it doesn't have to be a crazy screaming session."

Kourtney said that she and Scott Disick will decide after the fact "if we're into sharing it or not."

Now that would be must-see TV.

Catch more from the Kardashian's when "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" seventh season premieres Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on the E! network.

Obama visits 'The View,' reveals knowledge of Kardashian wedding

    By Courtney Hazlett

For the second time since taking office, President Barack Obama sat down for a chat with the ladies of “The View,” and The Clicker got a live look at the taping (the episode itself airs Tuesday).

Squeezing in the appearance between giving the commencement speech at Barnard College and delivering remarks at Ricky Martin's fundraiser in New York, the president dove right into campaign issues such as gay marriage and the current JP Morgan Chase debacle. But later in the show, Obama switched gears and gamely took part in a pop-culture quiz, proving that even the president stays a little dialed in to what people are buzzing about.

President Obama drops by "The View" for a pop culture quiz. And in other news, "Hardball" host Chris Matthews flexes his mental muscles on "Jeopardy."

Asked which Kardashian recently got married, Obama answered correctly, saying it was Kim, but qualifying that he only knew “because it was to a ball player.”

As for what sexy book was sweeping the nation, he wasn’t aware of “50 Shades of Grey,” and said he’d have to check with wife Michelle about that one. Although the president doesn't have a lot of free time on his hands, he's able to catch a movie now and again: “Avengers” was recently on the viewing schedule, he revealed.

And if you thought Obama’s brief rendition of “Let’s Stay Together” last January was forgotten, not to worry. It got some play during the broadcast too. While the first family appreciates his singing (Obama said his daughter Malia referred to him as “just the right amount of embarrassing,”) he assured the audience that the clip is not anyone’s ringtone, at least in his family.

Check listings for "The View's" local air times on ABC.

Will Kanye West be on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'?

    By Access Hollywood

    Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Kim Kardashian’s blossoming romance with Kanye West has captured fans’ attention, but don’t expect it to be fully documented on the new season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

“I think that I’ve learned, maybe the hard way, that when you open yourself up, and you’re in love and it’s happening so fast and to involve someone else in that is a little tough,” Kim told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman on Monday, as she promoted the return of her E! reality show alongside sister Khloe Kardashian.

“I have known Kanye for a really long time so… when you have that trust and you know someone, that, for sure, makes it easier,” Kim continued. “I don’t think he’ll really be on, but it’s my real life still, so if he comes to pick me up or something, and the cameras are there, obviously they just… show my real life. But, if there’s gonna be like intimate things and stuff like that, no.”

“No bubble baths and champagne,” Khloe chimed in. “I do bubble baths, sex swings – Lamar [Odom] and I do it all.”

Kim said that although her personal moments with Kanye won’t be on camera, he has been supportive of her endeavors for a long time.

“He was on [our show]. He came to see our store in New York when we were opening it, so as a friend he’s been so supportive,” she said.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” returns this Sunday 9/8c on E!

Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom are taking a break from their E! show.

    By Us Weekly

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have re-prioritized.

Though Kardashian "pulled the plug" on E!'s "Khloe & Lamar," a source close to the star told Us Weekly Monday, the 27-year-old says she'd consider reviving the series sometime in the future.

"Our show is not cancelled," Kardashian told "Entertainment Tonight." "Lamar and I have chosen to take a break this summer. We've been on a whirlwind doing back-to-back shows, and we just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family time, kids, basketball, Olympics -- you never know. So we have a lot on our plate right now."

Lamar Odom, who was recently released from the Dallas Mavericks, adds: "The issue at hand is we just want to be happy. We'll take our time and we'll get back to it when it's time."

Get ready for more of the Kardashian family! The E! network has confirmed to our pals at The Hollywood Reporter that "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" has been extended for another three years to take the series through a ninth season.

According to THR, the deal also gives the channel first-look rights to any non-scripted projects the family may want to do. Considering the original "Keeping Up" led to several spin-offs -- "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami," "Khloe & Lamar" as well as Kim's big wedding special -- perhaps more's to come. After all, there are still two sisters and a brother who have yet to land their own shows.

Kim Kardashian reveals why she ignored family warnings about marriage

    By Us Weekly

     She lived, loved and learned.

When Kim Kardashian fell hard for Kris Humphries early last year -- getting engaged to the NBA star after just a few months of dating and tying the knot in August -- her famous family had major reservations.

PHOTOS: Kim and Kris' whirlwind romance

But Kardashian, 31, wasn't in a state of mind to heed the prophetic advice of sister Khloe and others. (She filed for divorce from Humphries, 27, on Oct. 31 after just 72 days of marriage.)

"I'm a person, when I'm in love, you can't tell me anything," she explained to Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" Wednesday. "And you gotta go through it yourself. So, I did what I believed in doing, and sometimes you don't want to hear what your family has to say."

    PHOTOS: Kim's terrible year

She and Humphries are now locked in an unresolved divorce battle. But still, Kardashian told Leno she's not sure she would have done it differently. "You look back and you're like, 'OK, that was a sign,' or, you know, 'Maybe I should have listened to them.' But, I wouldn't have been who I am today had I not gone through that."

And the romance was no show-mance, the reality star insisted. "What you see is what you get. I showed my life and the reality of my life and it might not be pretty all the time, but it's who I am and I learned so much from it."

Khloe Kardashian knew Kim's marriage was doomed from the start

    NBC

On "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," Khloe Kardashian revealed that she knew her sister's marriage to Kris Humphries was doomed before it began.

    By Ree Hines

When Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries went bust after just 72 days, it might have come as a surprise to some. But it was no shocker to sister Khloe Kardashian.

During a visit to "The Tonight Show," Khloe confessed that she suspected problems from the very first time she met her would-be (and later wouldn't-be) brother-in-law.

“They'd just started dating, and one of the first things that came out of his mouth -- like within the first five minutes -- was, 'So, how much you getting paid to fake your marriage? Like how long are you going to keep this up for?'" Khloe said.

She took the dig at her marriage to Lamar Odom as a bad sign.

“It just rubbed me the wrong way," she explained. "So, ever since then, I had a very defensive wall brought up. But I'm a very good judge of character, if I do say so myself."

    Follow @TODAY_Clicker

Which is why she was certain that her sister's wedding wouldn't end well.

"I said it before they got married," Khloe admitted. "I said how I felt. I love my sister and will support her no matter what. But I'm also going to be a good sister, and say this is how I feel: 'I'll still come to your wedding and do whatever you want me to do,' but I can’t lie and say 'Oh this is perfect' if I feel in my heart I just didn’t agree with it."

Kim Kardashian joins 'Drop Dead Diva'

    By Natalie Finn, E! Online

    Katy Winn / AP

There's a new diva in town.

Kim Kardashian will have a multi-episode arc on the fourth season on the Lifetime hit "Drop Dead Diva," starting with the season premiere, the network confirmed Thursday.

Production will kick off next month and new episodes will premiere this summer.

So, what will the "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" star's role be in the fantastical dramedy starring Brooke D'Orsay as a plus-size lawyer who's inhabited by the soul of a dead supermodel?

Kim will play Nikki, a love interest for Ben Feldman's Fred -- who, to make things interesting, is going into business with his ex, Stacy (April Bowlby).

"I'm ecstatic to welcome Kim to the 'Diva; family," said creator and executive producer Josh Berman. "In discussing the role of Nikki with her, I'm blown away by her smarts, sense of humor, and passion. This series is all about reinvention and I'm so excited to see Kim 'reinvented' in the world of 'Drop Dead Diva.' "

Readers finally got their 'Dancing' wish this week

    Adam Taylor / ABC

Pro hoofer Tristan MacManus gave partner Nancy Grace a friendly kiss the night they were eliminated from "Dancing."

    By Anna Chan

For weeks, many Clicker readers who are fans of "Dancing With the Stars" complained loudly to us that HLN host Nancy Grace was getting voted through week after week not due to her amazing ballroom skills, but thanks to her legions of non-"DWTS" fans.

So when she was finally voted off on Nov. 8, readers couldn't stop clicking on our recap and made it our top story of the week.

"Finally! Farewell! Good Riddance Nancy Grace!" wrote reader Lori Ann McCabe Roy on our Facebook page.

"She did show a more softer (caring) side to her but she really couldn't dance, n should have went home a long time ago," Angele Tessier wrote.

"Well Nancy might have left "gracefully" but the rest of the time she was brutal and hateful to Tristan," wrote Connie Hadley. "She never listened - because if she had she might still be there - she was awful."

As that recap proved, give the readers what they want, and they will click and click and click! Another popular complaint with this season was the judges. Whether it be the mean comments or inflated scores, fans of the show weren't pleased. So when Ree Hines offered up a piece on whether it was time to give the panel the ballroom boot, it became our second most popular post of the week. Not only that, readers had plenty to say about the subject on our Facebook page:

"It is very irritating to watch Carrie Anne and her over the top comments about some of the contestants expecailly the ones she finds physically attractive," wrote Dianne Holmes.

"They make a mockery of judging a ballroom competition," Homba Hojabo wrote. "People that have no clue how to dance get 7's instead of the 2's and 3's they deserve. No wonder we have shocking vote off's when they score the bottom contestants so high."

The third spot was also won by a reality show, but alas, not "Dancing." It seems weight loss and heartbreak make for a good headline, because our recap about heartbroken Ramon on "The Biggest Loser" rounded out the top three.

Kris Jenner: Kris Humphries will remain in Kim's new show

    NBC

Kris Jenner cuts to the chase with Jay Leno.

    By Randee Dawn

With the NBA still locked out, it comes as a relief to know that Kris Humphries will still have a place in the public eye. His appearances on "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" will not be edited out, according to his soon-to-be-ex-in-law Kris Jenner, a producer on the E! show.

Jenner appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday night; when Leno asked if Humphries would be cut from the show -- which wrapped before his ill-fated wedding to Kim Kardashian in October -- she told him that wasn't happening.

"No, no, no, no," she said. "You know what? We decided a long time ago that when we first started doing these shows that we were going to be really just raw and not edit ourselves, and we don't take stuff out.... So I think everybody will get a real fascinating glimpse into the kids' journey in New York City."

Made all the more fascinating by the healthy dose of schadenfreude that will no doubt accompany many viewers as they tune in for this particular "journey."

Forget the wedding! Check out 'Kardashian's Fairytale Divorce'

    By Ree Hines

After 72 days of reality-TV-worthy wedded bliss, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries called it quits (for now). But that doesn’t mean Kardashian fans can’t get one last look at the duo on-screen — or at least a reasonable facsimile.

In a refreshingly brief, parody sequel to the 4-hour E! special “Kim Kardashian’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event,” “Saturday Night Live” aired “Kim Kardashian’s Fairytale Divorce” this weekend.

Nasim Pedrad played the part of the former bride, while a not-so-vocal Andy Samberg stole the skit as Humphries. But the best line of the send-up came from Kristen Wiig, who took on the role of momma Kris Jenner.

“I know a lot of people think that Kim got married just to earn over $17 million from the wedding. But that’s not true!” she told the camera. “She also got married for attention.”

With all the show-all Kardashian content on TV, do you think a divorce special is much of a stretch? Would you tune in if E! and the Kardashian clan actually put together another multi-hour, Kim-centric show?

C'mon, admit it! You love reality TV

    MTV, Getty Images

It’s the dirty little secret no discerning television viewer wants to admit: Reality TV may be over the top, dumbed down and at times straight up offensive, but it’s one fun guilty pleasure.

Maybe that’s why, what with all of the “just bring back scripted shows” and “this is what’s wrong with this country” talk that inevitably comes up whenever subject is broached (yes, we always read your reality TV rants on our Facebook page), one would get the impression that no one really tunes in to “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” or “Jersey Shore.”

But boob-tube enthusiasts must love getting their voyeuristic fix on because they tune in regularly.

In fact, big competitive reality shows, such as “American Idol” and “Dancing With the Stars” often snag the top spot in the overall TV ratings. And those so-called candid shows such as “Sister Wives,” “Intervention,” “Teen Mom,” all of the Kardashian spin-offs and the aforementioned “Shore” are routinely considered serious contenders in the cable ratings.

Heck, Kim Kardashian’s recent two-day, four-hour nuptial-palooza (aka “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event”) alone raked in more than 10 million viewers for the E! network. And despite requests from many readers that we never write about the famous-for-being-famous K-family again, our last blog post on the subject was one of our top five for the week.

So let’s face it: While there are, no doubt, plenty of you who wouldn’t dare watch a single episode of “Toddlers & Tiaras,” “16 and Pregnant,” “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” or “The Real Housewives” of anywhere, there must be just as many or more who would and do. We want to hear from you!

Do you love the Seaside Heights gang? Can’t get enough of “19 Kids and Counting”? Or maybe you’re the type that just enjoys exercising along with “The Biggest Loser” and tidying up during “Hoarders.” No matter what your reality TV guilty pleasure is, share it with us on our Facebook page. We promise we won’t judge, although we can’t speak for your Facebook friends.

Just to keep things fair, we’ll even get things started. Click here for a list of staff picks (including a shame-filled entry from yours truly).
